We meet and discuss issues within the City of Jacksonville that affect our neighborhood, bring up concerns of our neighbors and ways to resolve them.

Through our NEIGHBORHOOD CLEANUPS, we've worked on items where the City falls short - i.e. cleaning storm drains for better flow, trimming tree branches & bushes covering sidewalk areas so residents may walk or ride their bicycles more safely and, through our Block Captains, we are able to alert our neighbors and divert any possible criminal activity.

We advocate keeping our yards trimmed and free of debris and taking our trash can in within 24 hours of pick-up to avoid a City of Jacksonville fine. (We recently learned it carries a $50 fine). After trash pick-up, please store cans along side of your home.

We try to have our meetings informative and entertaining. Topics of interest are suggested by the membership and our guest speakers have included representatives from the City Council, Sheriff's Department, the County Extension Office, American Cancer Society, JEA, Elder Care and an attorney discussing Wills, Probate Issues and Living Trusts.
